Pavillon Louvre Rivoli

After all the great advice I have received in response to my previous posts (many thanks to all of you!), we have rethought our original plan to stay at the Sheraton CDG, and have opted instead tfor the Pavillon Louvre Rivoli on Rue Moliere (1e). The location is central and seems great for our 10 day stay - does anyone have any %26quot;inside%26quot; recommendations on bakeries, bistros, restaurants etc. in the surrounding area?

We are planning to take the Roissybus from CDG to it%26#39;s end near the Opera (rue Scribe at rue Auber) and then walk/roll our luggage to the hotel. Seems like a short enough distance on our maps- does anyone have any opinions on how doable that would be? It would be early afternoon...

Thanks once again- the opinions we got and all the great info on the forum have caused us to rethink how we really want to experience Paris on our first visit....

It is about 850 metres. Do an itinerary search on

For detailed directions do search itinerary from %26quot;rue scribe%26quot; to %26quot;20 rue Moliere%26quot; and make sure you select the %26quot;Pieton%26quot; option at the bottom. The first 120m to rue Auber on the description is of course not necessary in your case but I dont know the number on rue Scribe that is closest to the corner of rue Auber.
