Transfer in CDG.

Hello all.

I%26#39;m trying to setup everything for our vacation, and have a question.

My gf will be flying from Moscow to Caracas, connecting in CDG.

The transfer time is 1.5 hours, and according to flight status, both flights arrive and depart from Terminal 2C.

Since she doesn%26#39;t have French visa, she should not leave transit area at all. We%26#39;re also checking bags to destination.

Will she have to go through immigration/customs/baggage control at all? I%26#39;ve never flown through CDG before, and can%26#39;t find that info anywhere.

Thanks.

I%26#39;ve flown into CDG, but only to stay in France (sorry!)

I would think if you call the airline they%26#39;ll be able to answer your questions. If she%26#39;s leaving from the same terminal, on the same airline and checking her baggage through to her final destination, I can%26#39;t see why she would have to go through customs. However, there are shuttles that take you off of the plane (some gates de-board quite a ways away from the terminal itself) which leads you right to passport control, so that she may do.

My advice, call the airlines or go to the CDG website and see if you can get more information.

Sorry I couldn%26#39;t be more helpful, hopefully someone else will be able to help you out on this!

Since she will be traveling between non-Schengen coutries (with her luggage checked through from inbound to outbound flights) and on be an %26#39;..IN TRANSIT..%26#39; passenger. She will not need a French visa...nor will she need to clear French Immigration or Customs at CDG...so long as she remains within the security controlled portion of CDG #2-C. Technically, she will not land in %26#39;..France..%26#39;. But she should try to avoid the fate of long-time CDG In-Transit passenger, Mehran Nasseri, who arrived at CDG in 1988 and didn%26#39;t leave until 2006.

Good job, KDK! I was beginning to feel bad for Andreilvanov, no one was answering his question :)

Thanks a lot, that%26#39;s basically what I thought, but needed confirmation.
