rue mouffetard

We got back from Paris a couple of weeks ago - had a wonderful time! But, I was disappointed that when we walked down Rue Mouffetard on Monday a.m., it was not open - nothing, nada......a bit depressing. Did we go on the wrong day? We planned on going Sunday, but it didn%26#39;t work out, but I thought the market was there every day. Guess not! Did I miss something?

All the markets close down on Mondays so even if you had gone to another you would have found them closed too.

Monday , most of shops and markets are closed in France
