May wife and I are taking a train from Bayeux to Pontorson for a day trip to Mont-St-Michel. Is it difficult to catch taxis to and from Mont-st-Michel? Thank you!

not sure about taxi%26#39;s, but there is apparently a local bus service from pontorson station to MstM about 2 euro each, 15 min trip, that run fairly frequently from what I%26#39;m told. was thinking of doing the same day trip but am now thinking of hiring a car. would be interested to know how you get on though.
