Hotel Palm Beach?

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hotel Palm Beach in Cannes? I can%26#39;t find any reviews of it online.

Do you think Palm Beach/Pointe Croisette is within reasonable walking distance of the Palais des Festivals?

Thanks!

Depending on the time of year , your fitness level and the temperature it is walkable (maybe 25 to 30 minutes or so) but it can be quite a hike particularly if it%26#39;s hot or you%26#39;re in a rush- it%26#39;s OK for a relaxed stroll but not a route march if the temperature%26#39;s 27 degrees!

There are buses which run along the Croisette and which would take you to the Palais ,or taxis (but if the roads are congested due to an event going on they can take a while too).

In my opinion, Palm Beach is lovely ,but not great if you want to be at the Palais or beyond on a regular basis especially on foot.

Thank you so much for the quick response! I think the walk would be okay, but it would get very old after a couple of days!

I just found an availability at the Chalet de l%26#39;Isere, which looks very nice, and much closer to the Palais, etc. I love the fact that Guy de Maupassant lived there! I don%26#39;t see any reviews of it online, either, but I think I%26#39;ll grab it!
