Does anyone know if there any resale designer handbag shops

(Prada Chanel or Louis Vuiton) in Paris and wher they might be located. I have heard that there are somebut do not know where they are,

I know there is one in the Champs Elysees area. I am so sorry I do not remember the name. We found it in the travel book in our hotel. But just so you know in case you don%26#39;t find a resale shop, bags are less expensive in Paris! Good luck!

There is a great article in Travel and Leisure mag this month with 4 or 5 shops listed that are resale designer shops. Check out www.travelandleisure.com and click on Paris Vintage Shops. Have fun!

The article cajeta noted is informative. I visited Les Trois Marches de Catherine B @ 1 rue Gruisarde and it is well stocked. When I went, a lot of Chanel, some LV and some Hermes. They specialize in Hermes vintage scarves and will do a search for you, however the prices are high. They also have newer ones.

Also browse through phread%26#39;s posts for other resale shops.

I%26#39;m not sure that there are any %26#39;..depôts-ventes..%26#39; (comsignment shops) in Paris that are exclusively or even specialize in handbags (%26#39;designer%26#39; or otherwise)...but there are a large number of depôts-ventes throughout Paris that may well have handbags in their stock when you%26#39;re there (you can%26#39;t know for sure if or what these shops will have until you%26#39;re actually stendin%26#39; in %26#39;em).

If you use the %26#39;..SEARCH IN:..%26#39; feature (located under the GREEN %26#39;Paris Forum%26#39; line) and use %26#39;..Depots-Ventes..%26#39; or %26#39;..Consignment Shops//%26#39; as you basic Search criteria, you%26#39;ll come up with several hreads on the topic, with lists of shops and their locations.
