from nice to monaco or cannes

how is better to go in one day trip from nice to monaco, cannes or st tropez : by car, by bus, by train or on the sea?

Of the three I would say Monaco is the most interesting and is 36 mins by train from Nice Ville station. Or you could get the bus, a trip with spectacular views for 1.30 euros, which takes not much longer. Cannes is 40 mins in the opposite direction.

St Tropez is not accessible by train. Boat is the best bet in high season.

Cannes and Monaco are easy half-day trips from Nice by taking the regular train service that links all the major towns on the Côte d%26#39;Azur. Cannes is about a 40 minute train ride west of Nice and Monaco about a 30 minute ride east.

St. Tropez will be a long day-trip from Nice and is best reached by boat from the Vieux Port.
