My wife and I planning to travel to Paris, 1 st week of June.
We are planning to stay either in near Eiffel Tower -vs Near TheLouvre. (campanile paris tour eiffel vs timhotel palais louvre)
We are young and will be actively sightseeing and will use the hotel mainly to sleep and will be out atleast 9a to 9p.We are not crazy party types. But enjoy good dinning.

Assuming the question is which area to stay, of the two I%26#39;d recommend the Tim near the Louvre. Some of our friends have stayed at the Timhotel and thought it was fine.
The Louvre area is more central from a transportation perspective and there%26#39;s a lot more to do close by. Other than the E-tower and Invalides, there are few other attractions in the 7th Arrondissement and it can be pretty boring on Sundays and bank holidays.

First , the 2 places you are choosing are 2 nice places , but rather expensive , i don%26#39;t know the hotels that you mention , i mean in general as quarters of Paris .
If you use the hotel as a sleeping place and as a basis to visit , i would rather recommend you le Louvre quarter , which is more central , with several metro stations around and very interesting places at walking distances .. but you know , Paris is not so big , and the metro is a fast way to go anywhere .. still .. le Louvre would be my best advice .. enjoy your stay , and if you have any questions , please ask

I would stay at the Timhotel. Easy enough to walk to several museums sites as well as Seine, ND, and crossing over to LQ. I stayed by the Lourve last year and would not stay any further from the activiity of the 4th, 5th, or 6th ARR.
Eiffel Tower area is nice but much less central. The Left Bank will have so much more action for younger travelers.

The area around the Louvre is a bit more central, look on a touristy map, and you will see that you would be between more sites in that area, if you are around the Eiffel Tower you are farthest south of most sites.
