Is metro to St. Denis covered on a Carte Orange?

We are planning on going to St. Denis one afternoon and will have Carte Orange passes. Will we need and additional ticket to go to the Church? \

The metro pass you will have will get you to the St Denis area. There is a fee to get into the basilica itself which you can pay for at the entrance. It%26#39;s well worth the time and money.

I am not quite sure, but I think that you cannot go all the way up to Basilique de St.Denis if your Carte Orange is for zones1-2 only.

When I was up there last summer, I took the RER back to Paris and I had to buy a ticket from St.Denis RER station (which is in zone 3) back to central Paris.

Maybe the metro station next to the basilique is in zone 2, if so - no problems.

The *entire* métro system is covered by a Zone 1-2 pass or a Ticket %26quot;T%26quot; which is also in theory only good for Zones 1 and 2. So you can get to or from St. Denis by métro (Line 13) with a Zone 1-2 CO. However the station is *actually* in Zone 3 so if you use the RER you will have to buy a separate ticket. The same situation arises at La Défense incidentally.

OK, thanks.
