I think on their website it dicusses this - I don%26#39;t have kids but I do recall it saying that kids were fine....don%26#39;t remember the details - just google %26quot;fat tire bike tours%26quot; and it should bring up their site.

My husband and I did the tour of Paris at night on the bikes. We are in our late 50%26#39;s and did fine. I don%26#39;t remember if they had any bike seats on the adult bikes for young children but I do think that 4 years old would be way to young to be bicycling around the streets of Paris. You do go into the streets with the traffic and it is a tad bit scary for the adults much less a small child. If they have children%26#39;s seats, then it would be fine. Our tour was over 4 hours so that is a long time for a child even with the frequent stops.

The bike tours are great fun, but I would hesitate to try this with your children. Four hours is a long time for an 11 year old, and I didn%26#39;t notice any smaller than full sized bicycles. Even if you could put the 4 year old in a child seat, you%26#39;re biking mostly along city streets, and four hours would be a long time to balance a child that size, with the frequent stops for traffic, lights, pedestrians, etc.
But, e-mail them. They%26#39;re American, and can advise you more accurately.

PS They also rent bikes, so you might want to consider that, versus the four hour tour.
The office, where you pick up the bikes, is very close to the Eiffel Tower and the huge Champs de Mars.

When my wife and I went there was a 9 year old that went, she did just fine. Everyone on the tour watched out and helped her along the way. The tour guide was great and very helpful. They have small bikes, bike seats and can accomodate just about any situation. The day tour is longer and could be hot for the kids, the night tour is late and you end up riding in the dark for a little bit after the boat cruise. Either way, it is a great time and your kids will probably talk about it long after they have forgotten everything else.
