My boyfriend and I have just booked a trip to Paris for four days in June. Being the planner that I am, I%26#39;ve pretty much got our itinerary set for our short stay. However, he%26#39;s just informed me that he will not leave Paris without seeing of on the French new wave film exhibits (an aspiring director himself)!
I%26#39;ve read very little about the Musee de Cinema (unfortunately their website is only in French) but certainly plan to check it out. Can anyone give me any other suggestions on where we might go other than just the Musee de Cinema? Do any other museums in Paris have exhibits surrounding French film? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Musee du Cinema is very interesting, but it is mostly about the history of film making. For something on the French New Wave you%26#39;ll probably need to hope their is some exhibition going on.
The cinematheque is a good recommendation, there is also something like that in Le Forum des Halles, near the Pompideau Center (not to be confused with another cinematheque actually inside the Pompideau Center) and they have programs of interesting films that often include films from the French New Wave (shown in french with no subtitles)
New Wave in French is Nouvelle Vague. So if you do a google search on %26quot;paris cinema nouvelle vague%26quot; you will come up with something in english.
