Can I get the TGV ticket just .5 hrs before travel??

Hi,

I would be really obliged if someone can clarify my doubt.

I would be reaching Paris on 15th April, i have not done any reservations. I want to travel to Biarriatz (France) from Paris.

Will I be able to buy TGV tickets after reaching Paris for same day travel to Biarriatz or I require to book the tickets in Advance?

Please let me know.

Yes you can purchase your tickets on the day of travel until shortly before the train departs. However *some* trains on a Sunday *may* sell out. Also it would be more convenient to purchase your tickets in advance *if* you have the option of printing them from your computer. Check at voyages-sncf.com

You can also go to any SNCF boutique in Paris to buy your ticket before your travel day and possibly avoid the lines at the ticket windows at the station. These are sometimes quite long. Here is a list: http://tinyurl.com/y97we9
