Hotel Moderne du Temple

I would like to ask if anyone has any experiences with Hotel Moderne du Temple ( www.hotelmodernedutemple.com/indexd.html ) ?

How is the location?

How are the services?

How long would it take to the city centre using public transport?

p.s. if anyone could recommend a relatively cheap (under €75 per night ) hotel in Paris city centre it would be greatly appreciated.

I don%26#39;t know the hotel, but have stayed in the area several times. It is close to Republique from where you have great transport links to all parts of the city. By metro it will take 5 minutes to Chatelet which is very central.

There is a search box on this page which is very useful. If you type in %26#39; budget hotels%26#39; you should get lots of hits.

I often go to Paris for the opera and I have stayed at the Hotel Moderne du Temple many times. For a budget hotel it is fairly clean but the walls are litteraly paperthin. You can hear anything and everything so you mustn%26#39;t be a light sleaper. The location is indeed ideal.

However I can recommend you another hotel where I am staying now when I go to Paris. It is slightly more expensive but the quality is much much higher : http://www.cosmos-hotel-paris.com/.
