Seine cruise - which company?

We definitely want to do an evening cruise on the Seine but not a dinner cruise. Which company is best to go with?

We used Bateau Parisienne and will do so again in 2 weeks time, it was fine and had a tour guide to point out all the landmarks etc we also got a picture that was taken of us on the cruise, we didn%26#39;t have to buy it if we didn%26#39;t want to, but did as a momento as it was only 10e. Other people on TA recommend different and all seem good.

whatever company u use, do the cruise twilight time around 20:00 / 21:00 time. lights just come on. It is beautiful. as for me, we did it with cityrama + moulin rouge combo. being in a group we got to go ahead of the long queue of people waiting on to get on.

Do you need reservations for these cruises??

We did the night tour on both tour companies we found them both to be good.

We made sure we were undercover the evening it was drizzling.

Make sure you go on the late ride so that all the lights are on.

There are three fine companies

Bateaux Mouche, at Pont%26#39;de l%26#39;Alma, Alma Marceau Metro

Bateaux Parisiennes, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower

Vedettes du Pont Neuf at the tip of Ile de la Cite

Vedettes du Pont Neuf is good if you are in Central Paris.

My preference is Bateaux Parisiennes.

Reservations usually not necessary, but it is a first come thing, boats leaving on the half hour until 22:30

I prefer the companies with the smaller boats. The Bateaux Mouches are huge, and I don%26#39;t think they%26#39;re as nice as the Vedettes du Pont Neuf. I think the Bateaux Parisiennes are also smaller.

I prefer Vedettes du Pont Neuf. I like their small size, the fact that the tour guide is a person and not a recording, and their location in Paris. (Ile de la Cite)

We used Vedettes du Pont Neuf and had a great time.

Just back from Paris and we went on Vedettes du Pont Neuf twice: once midday when we first arrived (this helped us get our bearings in Paris), then at 8:30 pm on our last day because we wanted to see and remember how lovely Paris is at night. I highly recommend this company.

We did not have to make reservation either we just got there early.

Also check the tourist rack in your hotel for discount coupons for the ride. We each used one.
