Hi BB
I am guessing that around 100 Euros is reasonable for you and that you want A/C and a central location and suggest for central location and good value

Try the Hotel Tonic Louvre. This is a small hotel with tiny elevator, AC, and a breakfast room. It%26#39;s on the rue de Roule not far from the Pont Neuf. We stayed there and had a decent room on the 2nd floor with double bed, room #405.

Two super little hotels smack in the center of Paris are the Hotel de Seze http://www.hoteldeseze.com/ (between the Opera and the Madeleine Church) and the Mansart

(neighboring the Ritz-Carlton on the Place Vendome). The Seze is generally less expensive, but check the Mansart for August discounts. Both have air conditioning and if you like a great combination of charm and modern conveniences, they fit the bill.
