I have only a little lestwo %26quot;half days%26quot; and one full day in Paris and wonder if my itenary is possible.
Day 1) I arrive at my hotel near Porte Maillot in the afternoon around 4 pm. After checkin i would like to walk to the Arc de Triomphe and visit the top. After that go and visit the Eiffel tower in the early evening.
Day 2) Head out pretty early from the hotel.. maybe around 8pm.. before lunch visit Notre-Dame and maybe some other sight in the central of Paris like Invalides/Pont Alexandre III and maybe a quick riverboat ride. In the afternoon visit the Louvre and end the day with a visit to Sacre Cour in the early evening.
Day 3) I have to checkout around 10am. But before that take a walk along Champs Elysees and/or a quick trip to la defense.
Any comment? Do I have or do I have to cut down.. or can I squeeze in some more somewhere?
Thanks,
/Shrky

Looks fine to me. Except that I think you mean %26quot;8.00 a.m.%26quot; and not %26quot;8.00 p.m.%26quot; on Day 2. If at all possible you should visit the market at Rue Mouffetard. I read in Cosmopolitan that it%26#39;s the second best market of its calibre in the world. So you would be a fool to miss out on such a unique opportunity to visit the place. I hope you have a lovely time in the Big Pernod (which is the slang name that New Yorkers use to describe Paris).

Of course i mean 8am on day two.
I also probably will buy som advance tickets to avoid lines (and save time) at the louvre.. and also to eiffel tower if possible.

don%26#39;t bother with la Defense -- seriously -- a real dump except for the amusing architecture -- this is a visit for when you have a month in Paris and are bored of an afternoon
so many many things more worth doing and seeing in Paris than this place
I love to stroll the Seine at night -- a boat trip at night is another possibility -- the city and particularly Notre Dame are spectacular at night -- and the Eiffel Tower is actually quite beautiful up close at night
do the Champs when you do the Arc de T. -- there are lovelier spots to stroll for your last taste of Paris

This is how i now think i will do things..
Day 1) Should have checked in to my hotel (very close to Arc de Triomphe) by 5pm. Then first see top of the the Arc de Triomphe and take som pictures, and then spend the rest of the evening around Eiffel tower.. going up the Eiffel tower and see the tower light in the dark. Any suggestions of other things to do, eat in the area near the tower?
Day 2) Before lunch (8-13am) visit Notre Dame and maybe som other sights along the seine. Eat a quick lunch near the Louvre and at the same time buy an advance ticket to the museum (from Virgin Megastore in the Louvre Galleria?), get a museum map and take pictures of the outside ot the Louvre. Then spend a couple of hours in the afternoon in Montmartre and visit Sacre Cour. Then end the day with a evening visit to the Louvre (going to be in Paris on a day that the museum is open to 10pm).
Day 3) In the early morning 7-10am visit some place near my hotel like Champs Elysees or take the metro and visit som other interesting place that i have not been to. Any suggestions?
I hope to manage this trip without too much stress and be able to enjoy myself. Will use the metro a lot and hopefully save time.
