click on the hotel ratings on this site and check out Le Muguet, it is #22 out of the 1600 hotels ranked.

Although I have never stayed there, friends of mine were very pleased with the Hotel du Champs de Mars, in the Rue Cler area.

A friend has stayed twice at Hotel Valadon a street over from Rue Cler and loves it. I have reservations there for May.

If you would be willing to try an apartment instead of a hotel, look at vacationinparis.com. We just returned from staying in one of their apartments, very reasonably priced, convenient to the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler, which is a great place to find affordable meals.

Hi
I stayed at the Hilton near the Eiffel tower a couple of weeks back. It was not worth the 250€ per night that I had to pay but I have seen people here on the forum saying that they have gotten it for 120$ through hotwire.com and that sounds like a more resonable price :-) Check out this Paris map that I have made: http://gardkarlsen.com/paris_france_map.htm . The hotels that I have stayed at are marked in yellow...you can click on the various markers for more information.

We also are a %26#39;family of 5%26#39; and that was what made it hardest to find somewhere. We%26#39;ve booked an apartment for most of our stay, but needed a one-day filler. After much searching of the net and a number of emails we settled on Hotel Valadon (mentioned above). You can book an entire floor (2 rooms) for your family. They also have a %26#39;family cottage%26#39;. Many other places could not even guarantee adjoining rooms, let along interconnecting rooms. Hotel Valadon had excellent reviews, and they%26#39;ve been great to deal with so far! Their rates were quite reasonable compared to others I looked at. Have fun.
