Hi,
Thanks to all who have helped me recently, esp. Irishrovr.
About ready to book my train tickets on SNCF (my 90 day window starts in a couple of days).
Will be arriving back to Paris from Bayeux at 11:04 (St. Lazare), I would like to book the 12:52 train to Amsterdam (Gare Nord).
Are the trains usually on time, and am I giving myself enough time to get from St. Lazare to Nord...roughly just under 2 hours? I will have to pick up my tickets at the Nord station window also (will be getting child fares for that trip and I can%26#39;t print those here at home). Will be traveling light and my kids are 11 an 13, so they can run!!
Am I cutting it too close? Should I leave more time time between trains?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts

You should have no problem making the transfer in that amount of time. Generally French trains do run pretty close to time.
You can pick up your tickets for your trip to Amsterdam at any station or SNCF boutique any time after your arrival in France. Does not have to be GduN and does not have to be on the day of travel.
Here is a list of SNCF boutiques in Paris: http://tinyurl.com/y97we9
Good luck!

Irish,
To the rescue once again! That tip about the SNCF boutiques will save me some worrying, and there appears to be one very near our apartment!.
Merci beaucoup,
Rick
