Nuit Blanche Festival

I read about the Nuit Blanche festival in the Paris Rough Guide and it sounds like a great time. The guide stated that it%26#39;s held in early October...does anyone know exactly when this is held? And where? Any info from all of you experts out there would be greatly appreciated. I will be in Paris for the first time October 9 - 15 and wanted to let all of you TA regulars know how much I appreciate the insight and thoughtfullness that goes into your posts!

It is always held on the first Saturday of October. You will miss it by a few days this year. Paris.fr will post information about this year%26#39;s event soon, I%26#39;m guessing. If you visit the website, click on Culture, and then Nuit Blanche. They don%26#39;t have any info posted just yet, though.
