Gluten-free eating in Antibes ...

Hi

Has anyone with Coeliac Disease - and following the associated strict gluten-free diet - any experience of eating out in Antibes, Juan les Pins or any other part of the French Riviera?

I%26#39;m off to Antibes in June, self-catering for obvious reasons, but it would be nice to eat out a few times during our fortnight. I am from the UK, and have a good French translation of my dietary needs for restaurant staff, but it would be good to know if someone like me has been there, done that ...

I realise that this is a specialised subject, but if anyone can offer any help it would be much appreciated

Thanks

My missus is a state registered dietitian, and she tells me its no problem as long as you avoid pizza pasta and bread, but choose sensibly in restaurants things like meat fish vegetables rice and potatoes. Just don%26#39;t rely on a technical conversation with French waiters about the subject!

Thanks NiceLife. And thanks to your missus as well!
