Family Accomdation Needed

Hello there,

I wonder could anyone recommend accomodation suitable for a family of 5 incl. 3 boys age 11, 9 and 5. We are looking for high quality self catering accomdation in the Summer, either with swimming pool or very close to a beach, and within close proximity to town. any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sarah,

I stayed at the Biarritz Ocean hotel with our 3 children for 6 weeks while our apartment in Biarritz (we live here) was being remodled a couple of years ago. We were very happy there.

The location is great, right in the center of town but on a relatively quiet street. Easily within walking distance to everything, beaches included.

All the rooms are the same, large bedroom with a queen size bed, alcove with bunk beds and a good size sitting room (double pull out couch) with a well equipeted galley kitchen. Ask for a room facing the garden and that will give you a sunny balconey. There is a decent bathroom and a separate toilet. The have parking underground if you have a car, although honestly you wouldn%26#39;t need one if you stayed there and wanted to just do Biarritz.

There is a great little park for kids that age called the Parc Mazon, also within walking distance.
