I read this article but to me the best chocolate eclair is still at la Maison du Chocolat.

My hubby%26#39;s favorite is la Maison du Chocolat! He says they can not be beat!!!

I was interested to see that the Bakery mention in the Chocolate Guide to Paris was not on the list.

I agree with you, La Photographe. I am surprised to see Carette on the top. I am generally not found of Carette, neither for the macarons (I prefer Ladurée) or for the éclairs au chocolat (La maison du chocolat is the best).

Thanks Les! Wow I like the terrasse at Carette and have often had delicious sandwiches there but for dessert only the fruit tarts..which are divine. Next time eclair!

Now I%26#39;m off to the local Maison du Chocolat and Fauchon in search of chocolate fish for the 1st!

Eclairs (and choc-choc cake) indeed good at Carette, but quite pricy! Two eclairs, one choc-choc, and a small bottle of Evian was 18.50 Euro or about $25.
